Angelina Jolie turns her home into shelter for fire victims

Amid the catastrophic California wildfires, Hollywood star Angelina Jolie has turned her home into a sanctuary for those who have lost everything to the flames.The deadly fire, which started in the Pacific Palisades area, is being called the most destructive in Los Angeles history. The fire that destroyed thousands of homes, even did not spare the Hollywood celebrities.Although her own property remains intact, Angelina has decided to help by providing shelter to those displaced by the fires. Other stars like Leighton Meester, Anna Faris, and Ricky Lake have also found their homes affected.The fire has so far claimed at least 16 lives, and dozens are still missing, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner. Over 12,000 homes have been lost, and more than 37,000 acres of land have been consumed, leaving families devastated.In an outpouring of support, several celebrities have come forward to help the victims of the natural disaster. Halle Berry has donated her entire wardrobe to those in need, while Sharon Stone has also pledged contributions. Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are offering shelter to the displaced as well.In addition to the shelter and donations from other stars, Jamie Lee Curtis and her husband, Christopher Guest, have promised to donate $1 million.
