Govt decides to expand federal cabinet

The government has decided to expand the federal cabinet by inducting three ministers and an adviser.According to sources, Dr Tariq Fazal Chaudhry, Talal Chaudhry and Hanif Abbasi will be made ministers, whereas it is expected that Dr Tauqeer Shah will be appointed as an adviser to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif.Sources told Dunya News that it was expected that the ministers and the advisor will take oath on Monday.Earlier, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif directed the departments concerned to ensure uninterrupted supply of gas to domestic consumers in winter season.He said the supply of gas to domestic consumers remained the top priority of the government, adding that structural reforms in the energy sectors were a must to resolve the issue on a permanent basis.
