Khawaja Asif claims Faiz Hameed played key role in Imran Khan’s rise to power

Defense Minister Khawaja Asif says that Lieutenant General Retired Faiz Hameed played an important role in bringing former Prime Minister Imran Khan to power. Speaking to the media at the Parliament House, Asif claimed that the partnership between Imran Khan and Faiz Hameed was evident even on May 9, suggesting that evidence would soon emerge as to how the 2018 elections were rigged. Asif also pointed out that many citizens were subjected to military trials during Imran Khan’s tenureAnd the law will decide the future of military trials involving Imran Khan. He further remarked that when it comes to 12 deaths in D Chowk, the deaths of Rangers and policemen were ignored. He accused the PTI of playing the provincialism card and claimed that the civil disobedience movement would not succeed. He questioned why people abroad whose family members are here do not send to Pakistan? It may be noted that in a recent interview on ‘Duniya Mehr Bukhari Saath’, Senator Faisal Vawda also claimed that the entire planning of the May 9 program was done by Imran Khan, facilitated by Faiz Hameed. Wawda said that Faiz Hameed had provided all the evidence against Imran Khan and to protect him, Khan had started the civil disobedience movement.
