Islamabad: It has been decided to impose a complete ban on bringing goods from abroad in commercial quantities, anyone can bring a phone for personal use. Now women and men going to foreign countries will not be able to bring goods in commercial quantities, FBR has issued a notification regarding the amendment of baggage scheme. It is said in the notification of FBR.That it will be allowed to bring a mobile phone from abroad for personal use, now goods worth more than 1200 dollars are considered commercial trade, all mobile phones except one mobile phone will be confiscated, despite paying additional goods duty, tax, fine. Also not clear, the draft regarding further amendments in Baggage Rules 2006 was issued. The FBR notification further stated that recommendations regarding amendments in the rules can be given within 7 days.
