Punjab CM Maryam Nawaz lands in Beijing on eight-day official visit

Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif arrived in Beijing on an eight-day official visit on Sunday, becoming the first woman chief minister of Pakistan to visit the neighboring country. At the Beijing airport, the provincial chief executive was received by representatives of the Chinese Communist Party, Pakistan’s Ambassador to China Khalil Hashmir and other senior officials.
