10 British citizens charged with war crimes in Gaza

 

Barrister Michael Mansfield, from the London police, has charged 10 British citizens with war crimes in Gaza.

According to international media, London’s Metropolitan Police and Barrister Michael Mansfield, a prominent human rights lawyer in the UK, and a team of lawyers have compiled a 240-page report that will be presented to the war crimes team at the Metropolitan Police Counter-Terrorism Command.

The application in this regard has been submitted by the Palestinian Center for Human Rights and the UK-based Public Interest Law Center, which represent Palestinians in Gaza and the UK.

Palestinian family who emigrated from Gaza granted permission to live in BritainThis is the first report of its kind to provide thorough research and solid evidence detailing the involvement of British nationals in serious war crimes allegedly committed in Gaza.Paul Herron, legal director of the Public Interest Law Center, said of the report that it is based on extensive evidence collected over six months.

The report has been presented to the Metropolitan Police’s war crimes team, and we call for a full and prompt investigation and criminal prosecution.
