Karachi – An important political development is expected to strengthen ties between the federation and Sindh and accelerate the development of Karachi, where delegations of the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (Pakistan) and the PML-N are going to have an important meeting at the Governor House today.

In this meeting, detailed consultations will be held on the federal budget, development schemes, distribution of funds and long-standing issues of Karachi’s traders, with the aim of improving the economic and social development of the city of Quaid.

🔹 Who will participate?
MQM will be represented by Governor Sindh Kamran Tesori, Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui, Farooq Sattar and Aminul Haq.

The PML-N delegation will be led by Federal Finance Minister Muhammad Aurangzeb.

📌 Budget and proposals in the public interest
The MQM will also present budget-related recommendations and plans for improving urban infrastructure in this meeting. According to party sources, the MQM has also prepared detailed proposals on Karachi’s backward settlements, water, sewage, transport and local government funds.

✉️ Senator Nasreen Jalil’s letter to the Prime Minister
Earlier, Senator Nasreen Jalil had also written a letter to Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif on budget recommendations, in which she stressed the need to pay special attention to Karachi as a representative party of urban areas.
