🚛 Transport Sector Rises with Unity and Strength: Long March for Justice Begins

In an inspiring display of solidarity, the All Pakistan Goods Transporters Association has launched a historic long march toward Islamabad, calling attention to the hardships faced by the country’s transport workers and businesses.

Speaking in Sadiqabad, Chairman Chaudhry Qamar-uz-Zaman shared that over 40,000 vehicles remain stranded due to unrest in Sindh, with significant losses and distress. Despite this, the movement remains peaceful and determined. “We are united, not just in our struggle—but in our hope for fair treatment,” he stated.

The transporters are urging the federal and provincial governments to take action: to compensate for damages, protect essential workers, and ensure the safe movement of goods across Pakistan.

💡 The silver lining?
This long march has sparked national awareness, bringing the challenges of the transport industry to the forefront. It has opened the door for potential reforms, stronger security, and greater respect for the people who keep Pakistan’s economy moving.

🌟 Out of hardship, unity is emerging. A peaceful movement has begun—with the hope of rebuilding stronger, safer roads for all.
